It has been designed to serve as an independent short adventure spanning several sessions, or can be inserted into a pre-existing campaign by renaming several minor highlighted regions or characters!

"The characters arrive in the village of Nevergrim and learn about the militaristic monastic order in the nearby foothills, the Cobalt Cloister. After centuries of being a peaceful neighbour to the village, the monks of the Cobalt Cloister have made numerous attacks on travelers in the region.
Rumors begin to reach the village that the leader of the Cobalt Cloister has learned of a ritual which will allow her to ascend to Dragonhood, and spread the influence of her order violently throughout the region."
